They extended the warranty, but I finally sought service on the issue after the mileage deadline (but not the date deadline). Due to an additional powertrain warranty, I still was able to get it fixed."

Its a little grinding noise at first that has turned into a pretty loud, grinding, rattle. I think its a loose heat shield that will take the guy forever to locate and then fix or just remove it."

"Inconvenient and pricey to replace the transmission solenoid body ($3000). Known failure mode with this model of Subaru, and they extended the warranty to 100,000 miles, but mine failed at 113,000 miles, so I had to bear the cost and get a rental car for a couple days while the car was in the shop. Car ran fine with careful driving until I could get to the shop, and is driving perfectly find now."

"Not sure when it started, found out when the system didnt cool well. Service recharged refrigerant and let me know there are 2 small leaks in the hose and may need new condenser/compressor (not sure). Not a big deal except Im on my third condenser/compressor since purchase."
