Saundra D., NC (2007 Toyota Highlander)

Anonymous, SD (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Great acceleration. I won't consider anything other than a hybrid or electric car because of the amazing acceleration. The handling has always been a bit squishy, but it's a boxy SUV from Toyota, so that's expected."

Laura M., CA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Hybrid assisted acceleration is excellent and also very stable. Handling overall also is excellent. Still."

Anonymous, CO (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Very good acceleration. Hard cornering can be a little "squishy"."

"Drives very well. We sometimes drive on non-paved roads and it handles well in those instances."

Janice W., CO (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"While manufactured as an SUV, the vehicle's sedan origins resulted in what I consider ideal integration of handling, acceleration and comfort. GREAT CAR!"

Anonymous, CA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

What Owners Say

"There is not enough insulation and cabin is noisy."

Melissa E., KS (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Comfortable seating, roomy, excellent ride, quite"

Anonymous, FL (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"I've had this truck for 8 years or so and have loved it since the first day. At 100,000 miles I changed the timing belt, mainly because I thought the truck had earned it! It has never failed, never stalled, although I think one headlight & one tail light needed replacement. The catalytic converter acted up but was repairable."

Robert V., PA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Toyota has upgraded the seats, although they are not as good as the 2008 4-Runner. Noise and ride are OK, but could be better. Let's face it: This is a "baby bus.""

Anonymous, PA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Seats are comfortable and have lots of options to move them around. The ride is fairly quiet."

Jennifer G., VA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"The car is amazingly tight for its age and mileage - no rattles or interior noises. The seats are still firm and comfortable. It can still accelerate well when it is needed at both low and high speeds although there is a very slight slip in the transmission which I am monitoring but am not concerned about. The quality of the car has me feeling very good about Toyota. It is the first I've owned."

Roger M., FL (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"A comfortable ride even on long trips; seats, legroom, headroom, quiet, heating & AC."

Kent M., KS (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Heated leather seats are comfortable in both summer & winter."

Kathy E., IN (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"The seats are comfortable. I also like that I can heat them during the winter. However, the ride is noisy. Too much outside noise comes into the car and makes it difficult to hear the radio."

Anonymous, CA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Seats are of average comfort, not bad, not as great as my previous vehicle which was a Volvo. The ride is good, the noise level is mostly fine with the exception of an occasional rear seat rattle that has existed since new,"

Chris M., OR (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"The comfort level is good, not great."

Anonymous, NY (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Material seats easy to clean and have maintained great support since purchased the vehicle new. Ride is comfortable with low noise level good enough for easy conversation. The seats tend to get too warm when seated (in hot weather)."

Anthony R., CA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"This vehicle has a third seat, which I haven't used in many years since it is only useable for children or very small adults. Access to this seat is also feasible for children. Otherwise all other seats are comfortable and easy to use. Noise level in cabin is low at highway speeds."

Ronald R., MA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"3rd row seats have own heating control, all seats and belts are roomy and comfortable. Moon roof has various settings and works like a charm, great way to ventilate without opening windows! Road noise is minimal. Seat levels are accessible to my friends with walking handicaps."

Elizabeth W., CO (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"We make long trips (500mi) a couple times a year and find the Highlander quiet, and easy on the backside and back. We don’t hear much from the rear seat passengers either even when we load it up with 3 early 20-somethings."

Bradley G., WI (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"NOISE AT HIWAY SPEED IS A BIT HIGH. SEAT SPACE COULD BE A BIT MORE."

"adjustability if seat"

Robert I., MA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

ROBERT K., AZ (2007 Toyota Highlander)

JOHN H., CA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Its just a well made comfortable SUV."

RON D., MO (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Seats aren't the most comfortable I've had, but they are ok. Ride is awesome for a mid-sized SUV. Noise is minimal (great). Climate control will coolnentire vehicle, and then some, even in my south florida summers."

"Comfortable seats, great all around visibility, good, large, external mirrors, reasonably good MPG on trips, very reliable, sit up high which enhances visibility, space for everything we need to spend 2 months in Florida"

GEORGE B., PA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Noise level and ride could be bettter"

S R., NC (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"I'm a big man (6'2" tall and 300 lbs.) and this vehicle is very easy for me to get in and out. It is very comfortable for a big guy like me, I don't feel crowded."

TERRENCE T., VA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Base of seat could be a bit longer for maximum comfort (and I'm an average 5'11""

JEFFREY P., KS (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"I think the ride could be better (bear in mind it has 102,000 miles) on the original struts/shocks. I think most of the problem is with the Michelin tires-up to about 15,000 miles, the ride is good and quiet. After that the ride is harsh and noisy-this has happened twice with the Michelin premium tires."

DOUGLAS V., NE (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"There is excessive road noise. New tires helped, but it's still not a quiet vehicle."

Anonymous, PA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

GARY M., IL (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"air conditioning ride nice interior"

FRAN M., TN (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"The car is the perfect size for a man 6' tall, meaning ease of ingress and egress. I can look over the top of the car, the sightlines are very good, and only wish I could buy another one of the 4 cylinder variety. No, they increased the height and breadth of the car, and lost me as a customer. Also, no more 4 cylinder engine."

What Owners Say

"With regular maintenance, have had no major repairs. Reliable car year after year, should get 20 years from this vehicle."

Anonymous, FL (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"The vehicle has reliably performed. We have NOT had any major repairs done on this vehicle. The Federal Tax Credit in 2007 essentially made the cost of this vehicle comparable to an only gas-powered version of the Highlander."

Andrew K., CO (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Maintains quality, lots of miles with minimal repairs."

Anonymous, CT (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"The vehicle has, essentially, operated flawlessly without any repairs...only scheduled maintenance. Inside and out (fit/finish, moldings, materials, etc.) of the vehicle has little wear to show since 2007."

Anthony R., CA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"I have owned Toyota since 1979 and they consistently give me 225000 to 250000 reliable miles of service before I trade them in. All have needed normal maintenance; however, the 2007 Hylander has required more repair work since the 200000 mile mark than all the others I have owned."

Anonymous, KY (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"I've been driving this car since 2006 and it has given me reliability beyond any other car I've ever had."

Bruce R., CA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Very Economical."

Larry L., PA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Excellent value for the money. Purchased new and currently have over 285,000 miles on it. Only had one repair at 284,000 miles to replace the alternator. All other work was routine maintenance."

F H., CA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"It is a hybrid and should have good resale value. Very good mileage for an SUV."

Gordon G., CA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"With regular maintenance, it has been a very reliable car with few problems."

N S., CO (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"It's been absolutely great! Great ride, great to drive, surprisingly quiet, and reliable. Had it 11 years and can't find a reason to trade it; still looks good, both inside and out."

Anonymous, NC (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Excellent value for what was paid. Very well built. Ride and performance is still as good as when purchased."

Brian N., NY (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"We feel we got excellent value in that we have had no major repairs in 108000 miles. We replaced our battery only 2 years ago and our brakes have been replaced (rear only) just recently. This has been a very serviceable and durable car. Our car still retains a high resale value."

D C., WA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"After 11 years, the Highlander still drives like a new car, and looks like one. It was a great buy."

Phyllis C., FL (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Other than one that was covered by Toyota, we have had zero problems with our Hybrid Highlander - at well over 200k miles, it i going strong."

Nehemiah S., CA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"I have had my car for 10 years and it has been very reliable. I have only had normal wear and tear repairs."

Anonymous, IL (2007 Toyota Highlander)

Anonymous, SD (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"The best car I have ever owned. 154,00 miles with NO Prob lems!"

Anonymous, MN (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"The 2007 Highlander hybrid has mostly been a reliable vehicle with good gas milage. This year as the car approached 140,000 I had some fairly expensive repairs consisting of torn control arm bushings that necessitated the replacement of the control arm, and a module that controls the ABS had to be replaced as well. About a $1500 repair per each from the dealer."

Anonymous, CA (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"This is the best vehicle I’ve ever owned! For me, reliability is the most important factor and my Highlander has never let me down. I’ve had it 11 years and the only money I’ve put into it was for regular maintenance and tires. It drives like a car and is very stable in snow and rain. I plan to continue driving it a few more years then replace it with another Highlander."

"It is a bottom end car. Serves my purpose well. I use it to haul and transport wood and tools. Serves my purpose very well"

Ron D., IL (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"The Highlander has been a good value. I have had it for ten years. The biggest issue so far is air leaking from around the rims of the wheels. I've talked to technicians and they say with the newer aluminum wheels they have a tendency to corrode around where the tire seats in the rim. No other real issues."

Anonymous, OH (2007 Toyota Highlander)

What Owners Say

"It is just a comfort thing"

AMELIA S., TX (2007 Toyota Highlander)

"Just enough style without having all this current rage of angularity in front and rear with the lights, etc. A Highlander, nor a RAV-4 for that matter, will never be a race car. Had 3 Ravs, starting with the 1996, and now 2 Highlanders. Wish I could find a car I like, now that this car has 180K miles."
