I have found standard wheel balancing is not sufficient, and that the advanced (and expensive) procedure sometimes referred to as Road Force Balancing makes a huge difference, and is the only thing that eliminates (or almost eliminates) the problem. The issue also affects the brake rotors which need to be turned regularly."
