What Owners Say
"Left rear caliper failed to function correctly which caused the brake pads to wear more quickly. This was resolved at the dealer where I purchased the Truck."
Anonymous, VT (2016 Toyota Tundra SR5 5.7-L V8)"Brakes seem to wear quicker than usual. They also don't seem strong."
Anonymous, CT (2016 Toyota Tundra Limited 5.7-L V8)"The premature brake wear is part of the rotor issue I previously discussed."
Anonymous, TX (2016 Toyota Tundra Base 5.7-L V8)"Brakes wore out after 16,000 miles"
Anonymous A., NY (2016 Toyota Tundra SR5 5.7-L V8)"This truck has always had brake problems. The original rotors were replaced around 25,000 miles under warranty. Within another 30-40,000 replaced at my expense. Whether I use Toyota or aftermarket supplies, keeps happening. My non-dealer repair shop put better quality rotors on this year and they appear to be working much better."
Anonymous, TX (2016 Toyota Tundra Base 5.7-L V8)"The rotors became warped and needed to be replaced."
Anonymous, WA (2016 Toyota Tundra Base 5.7-L V8)
"Alert warned me if I was towing anything to stop driving immediately and contact dealer. I was not towing. Alert was intermittent. I had it repaired. It was not the sensor. I dont recall what caused it but repair cost was 700.00"
