"Rotors warped prematurely"

"The rear rotors warped/have run out causing pulsation when braking and need to be replaced."

""Started a year ago, squeeking when reversing (in the morning mostly). Experienced daily. Took it into the dealer 3 times for this. the first 2 times they couldn't replicate the issue. 3rd time they kept it overnight and it did it in the morning. Come to find out there was a TSB for this and they replaced both front rotors, discs, pads, calipers and added some kind of shim to the new calipers. Has greatly reduced the squeeking but not eliminated it.""

"only 2 of the tires wore uneven. asked Toyota about it and they said they had problems with the TRD version but not the limited TRD. i was disapponted in Toyota response. i bought 4 new tires and had to pay for alignment myself. seems like Toyota is becoming like FORD & GM & NISSAN on their customer service as well."

""When I am in 4H and I turn the wheels to the left or to the right there is an increase the jerking of the wheels. The Toyota dealership did a wheel alignment. That did not resolve the issue. When I went online to a 2023 Tundra Forum, other men said things like there is a possible problem with the drive shaft or transfer case. Another man, who seemed fairly knowlegeable, identified some other possible problem. Well, for now I only drive in 2H and I seldom drive the 2023 Tundra until I can get it back to a Toyota dealership. As an aside, there have been about $8,,600.00 worth of recalls and warrantee work done on this truck. I drive carefully and I do more than the minium maintenance on any of my vehicles. All repairs and maintenance is done at a qualified Toyota dealership. I change oil at 8K not at the 16K recommended in the owners' manual. Any oil change and Toyota recall means more than 3 hours of my time and 300 KM round trip because there is not a Toyota dealership in my small town.""

""When slowing down to a near stop and trying to go again there can be a siginificant delay or heistation. I was able to capture data from the computer using toyota's techstream software that illustrated the problem. Toyota initally came out with a TSB (T-SB-0111-22) that addressed this concern but it did not resolve this issue for many owners. There is now a Tech Tip (T-TT-0777-25) that instructs service dealers to open a TAS (Tech support) Case with Toyota and to not diagose the vehcile. While I initally brought up the problem in Aug 2023, TAS directed the dealership to reset the transmission computer memory. While this provides temporarly relief at best, the problem returns after a few 1000 miles. I have not been back to the dealer but will alert them to the new Tech tip direction.""
