The latest all-in-one desktop from Dell, the XPS 27 Touch ($1,600), has a lot to offer. Here are three reasons to consider adding it to your family room.
The 27-inch display is the best all-in-one display in our Ratings. It's a touch screen that works well with Windows 8. Colors are accurate, realistic, and natural. And its 2550 x 1440 resolution is very high.
The XPS 27 Touch is great for computing tasks of every kind, including viewing and editing HD videos. It uses the latest Core i5, Intel's new fourth-generation processor. It beat the prior-generation processor used in the Dell XPS One by 45 percent. There's also a discrete graphics chip that trounced the integrated chip in the XPS One with triple the performance.

That fast processor means it has ample power for playing demanding video games. The 27-inch monitor provides plenty of screen for watching movies. And the speakers were better than those found on most other computers.
Want to save a few bucks? Consider that prior-generation Dell XPS One, which costs just $950. Its display was also excellent, though not a touch screen. We've got Ratings of many other new laptops and desktops as well.
