Prior to CR, Tanya was the news and politics editor at Essence, where she interviewed a gamut of notables, from Hollywood heavyweights to the vice president of the U.S. Her work has also appeared in Ebony, Glamour, Bustle, The Hollywood Reporter, Travel + Leisure, and Real Simple. She graduated from Hampton University’s Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications in 2008.
