    Ways to save on gasoline--and ways not to

    In Westchester County, N.Y., where Consumer Reports is based, we're no longer shocked by $4 a gallon gas prices. With $4.15, $4.39, or more for humble 87 octane regular posted atop many local pumps, $4 seems almost nostalgic. We can't predict with certainty where prices are headed from here, but "up" seems like a pretty good guess.
