Kellogg removes peanut butter crackers from store shelves

The Kellogg Company is "putting a hold" on four types of peanut butter sandwich crackers after learning that one of its suppliers had recalled peanut butter linked to a salmonella outbreak. Although the company has received no reports of illnesses associated with its products it has taken precautions with its Austin and Keebler branded toasted peanut butter sandwich crackers, peanut butter and jelly sandwich crackers, cheese and peanut butter sandwich crackers, and peanut butter-chocolate sandwich crackers.
