In May 2007 we wrote about mobster Silvio Dante from The Sopranos reading the same book and what people, er, stains he might be looking to rub out.
Randy "The Ram" Robinson, Mickey Rourke's empathetic character in The Wrestler, endures a few bloody messes throughout this genuinely excellent film that costars Marisa Tomei and was directed by Darren Aronofsky and written by Robert Siegel. Most of the red stuff flows in the ring, but one blood-spattered scene takes place at the supermarket where Ram works. The photo shows him splitting the store after he quit his job.
So How to Clean Practically Anything and our latest report on laundry detergents might come in handy for Ram. Without spoiling too much of the film, I'll add that Ram could definitely use a new car—like the pro wrestler himself, his Dodge Ram van has seen far better days.—Steven H. Saltzman
