We just launched a new mobile site that reformats our Ratings and product information, as well as buying advice, into pages that are easy to navigate on your smartphone. Check out the video for details on how it works.
To navigate the site, simply navigate to www.consumerreports.org from a phone that offers Web access and you will be directed to our mobile site. For existing online subscribers, just type in your username and password to access the full mobile site for as long as you are an online subscriber. For those shoppers just looking for a specific rating or short-term access, you can pay .99 for 24 hours or $4.99 for 30 days. Those charges will appear on your cellular bill. There is also free buying advice for all users.
Currently, in the cars section, we have our GPS ratings, which have recently been updated with new models, as well as our extensive tests of car and SUV tires and batteries.
This new mobile site will help you get instant access right at your point of purchase, so you can make sure you are getting a Consumer Reports recommended model wherever you are. Take it for a test drive on your next purchase.
