Digital picture frames: New Ratings include 31 frames

We've updated our Ratings (available to subscribers) of digital picture frames with seven new models. For those looking for a slightly larger frame, we've got three new 10-inch models, the first time we tested frames that size.

One of those frames, the HP 10.2-inch Dream Screen, offers a variety of features. Besides displaying your photographs, you can listen to live Internet radio and get photos from your computer, or Snapfish, via a wireless connection. The speakers are just good enough for casual radio listening, however.

You can also check Facebook and the weather report, features that you might think incongruous in a picture frame, but if you use the frame as an alarm clock, they make more sense.

Another frame with an interesting twist is the Sony 6.9-inch DPP-F700. It's got a built-in photo printer that we thought was very good.
