If you're in the market for a netbook, check out our latest computer Ratings. We've updated our netbooks Ratings (available to subscribers) with two new ones. The first is a very good performer from Toshiba for $330; the other is a $300 Lenovo Ideapad, one of the lowest-priced netbooks in our Ratings. (Check our Recommended netbooks, available to subscribers, for other top choices.)
For a great laptop deal, take a look at the Toshiba Satellite we just finished testing. It's a 15.6-inch model that costs just $350. While it's not among the more feature-rich laptops we've tested, the price won't burn a hole in your pocket, and it should serve you well for basic laptop tasks. It's also lightweight for its size at 5.2 pounds. (Top-perfoming laptops and other models can be found in our Laptop Ratings and Recommendations, both available to online subscribers.)
In desktops, we've added and are recommending a couple of new HP computers, including an upgrade to the HP TouchSmart all-in-one.
Take a look at the new desktop computer Ratings and Recommendations (both available to subscribers) for other ideas if you're shopping for a computer.
