At CES this year, Panasonic is incorporating 3D technology into many of its new products—including five new camcorders that can shoot 3D video. Consumer Reports' associate electronics editor Terry Sullivan was able to get his hands on one of them, the HDC-SD90.
This camcorder has some remarkable features, especially considering it will retail for under $1,000: It has 21x zoom, wide-angle capability, and can shoot in 2D or in 3D, with the addition of a converter lens. You can expand the HDC-SD90's memory as well. Look for it to ship this coming spring.
Check back for more breaking 3D and digital imaging news from the Consumer Electronics Show.
