3D technology continues to work its way into computers, with Sony's introduction of a new 16-inch laptop at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The company's F Series laptops show 3D movies and photos in full 1080p high definition and require the same active-shutter glasses as Sony Bravia 3D TVs do. The 3D laptops feature a button that converts 2D HD videos into 3D. A Blu-ray player is built in, as well as an HDMI output for sending movies to a 3D TV.

The F Series laptops are powered by the second-generation Intel Core i7 processor and come with 1GB of video memory. Prices start at $1,700.
