Some things never change: The winter chill seems to always linger well into spring in New York City; gas prices rise with the warmer outside temperatures; and the opening breakfast of the New York auto show always serves up bland institutionalized scrambled eggs. And to think that ensconced in New York City, we're surrounded by some of the best restaurants in the world
But the CR crew is here covering all that's new in the automotive world, with a steady flow of blogs and video updates of what's happening in the Big Apple. And I'm still lugging around an ancient laptop because I hate composing blogs on a smart phone's tiny keyboard and miniscule screen, as others are doing for our Twitter feed. I'm also held hostage by the wireless system here at the Javits Center, so bear with me as fight the never-ending struggle with technology.
But I'm completely hopped up on Starbucks right now and promise to spend the next two days capturing the sights, sounds and press conference nuances not covered by other blogs.
So keep checking back for more auto show coverage from CR's autos team, here in the blog and in our special New York auto show OnLocation section.
