The cameras built into cell phones and smart phones can take digital pictures that can be on par with images taken by dedicated digital cameras. But a smart phone with the right imaging app can take your mobile digital photography to another level.

On last week's "Into Tomorrow with Dave Graveline" radio show, Consumer Reports editor Donna Tapellini reported on four digital image editing apps:

Each of these apps are available for smart phones and tablet computers running Apple's iOS or Google's Android operating systems.
