Consumer Reports launches the $25,000 Excellence in Consumer Advocacy Award

Consumer Reports News: June 16, 2011 02:23 PM

As part of our 75th anniversary, we're launching the Consumer Reports Excellence in Consumer Advocacy Award to honor those who advocate for consumers' rights, as Consumer Reports has done over its long history. We're looking to you to help us identify strong candidates—either individuals or small, nonprofit organizations—that should be considered for this honor, which comes with a $25,000 cash prize.

Submit the name of your candidate(s) using the online nomination form. Nominations will be accepted until July 13, 2011. In mid-August, we'll whittle the list down to five final candidates for a week of voting on ConsumerReports.org. The winner will receive the award at Consumer Reports' 75th anniversary celebration this fall.
