Samsung is coming on strong with its new laptops. A minor player in computers not too long ago, the company has several models in our latest batch of laptop Ratings. We tested Samsung laptops in various sizes and recommend all of them, some of which have very competitive prices.
You might have noticed that many 15-inch-and-larger laptops now include an option for a high-resolution display, like 1680x1050 or 1920x1080. We took a closer look at those displays to determine if they're worth the extra $100 to $150. Our conclusion: You won't notice any difference unless you're doing detailed photo or video editing.
