A recent study from the Pew Internet & American Life project revealed that a third of all American adults—35 percent—now own and use a smart phone. But are all these smart-phone owners protecting their phone data adequately?
On last week's "Into Tomorrow with Dave Graveline" radio show, senior electronics editor Donna Tapellini outlined some of the potential perils that put information on your smart phone at risk and suggested several solutions. Most important: Password-protect your phone. It's much more difficult for someone who gets your phone to get information from it if they don't know the password.
