Buick has announced pricing for the Verano, their new entry-level compact sedan, which will start at $23,470. The top-of-the-line model comes in at $26,850 including $885 for destination charges.
All models will be powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 180 hp mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features include leatherette seats, a color-LED touch-screen radio display with Buick's IntelliLink technology for Bluetooth, USB capabilities, and smartphone control with voice activation and streaming music through the stereo system.
Other standard features include steering wheel controls, remote start, power windows, and 10 air bags. Seat heaters will automatically activate when using the remote start and temperatures fall below 45 degrees. The rear defogger and heated outside mirrors will kick in as well. A heated steering wheel is available as well as a push-button engine start. The top-level trim will offer the leather material currently available in the LaCrosse.
GM's OnStar service is free for the first six months.
The Verano hits dealerships later this year.
