Do you have an idea for a cool smartphone or mobile device app—one that might be worth $10,000? Consumer Reports wants to hear from you.
Consumer Reports is turning to software developers, mobile enthusiasts, and fans of our previous apps (such as Consumer Reports Mobile Shopper and Consumer Reports Magazine, iPad Edition), to create its next mobile app.
Participants in the first ever Consumer Reports App Development Contest can submit their ideas online. From the sumbimissions, a panel of judges will select 10 finalists that will be open to a public online vote. The winner will receive a $10,000 contract to bring their idea from concept to completion.
