Sony announced today that it has extended its online streaming video rental service, Video Unlimited, to its new Sony S Tablet computers.
The Video Unlimited service will bring a library of more than 40,000 TV shows and movies to the Sony tablet, which was announced in August and expected to be available for sale in the U.S. soon. Rental costs for standard-definition titles will start at $3, while outright purchase of movie titles will cost at least $10.
Consumer Reports experts will be testing the Sony S tablet; We'll report on how the Sony tablet stacks against other models in our Ratings of tablet computers, available to subscribers.
