Toyota announced pricing today for its new small Prius C. The smallest hybrid car is set to go on sale next month starting at $18,950, plus $760 for destination charges.
The base model will have standard Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, nine air bags, active head restraints, brake assist, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, automatic climate control, and remote keyless entry.
For $19,900, the Prius C Two adds many features commonly found on base models, such as a six-speaker audio system, variable-speed intermittent wipers, a 60/40-split fold-down rear seat with adjustable head restraints, cruise control, a center console, and cargo area cover.
The Three trim level runs $21,635 and includes navigation with Toyota's Entune Internet connectivity system, Sirius satellite radio, HD Radio, a USB port, keyless entry, steering-wheel audio controls, and voice control. Access to Entune premium services, including traffic information, is free for three years. Stepping up to the Prius C Three also allows buyers to add a moonroof for $850 and 15-inch alloy wheels for $390.
At $23,230, the top Four trim level includes the 15-inch alloys standard, as well as heated outside mirrors and fog lights. Sixteen-inch alloy wheels are a $300 option.
The Toyota Prius C will arrive at dealerships in March.
