Master Forge gas grills, sold exclusively at Lowe's home improvement stores, are being recalled due to concerns over the grill's fuel hose. The Consumer Products Safety Commission says improperly installed hoses may melt and pose a fire and burn hazard to consumers.

The CPSC recall affects about 37,000 Master Forge GD4825 model gas grills sold at Lowe's from November 2011 through May 2012 for about $270.

Guangdong Vanward Electric Co., Ltd., of China has received two reports of the gas fuel hose melting and rupturing from contact with the grill's hot burner box. No injuries have been reported.

The CPSC urges consumers to immediately stop using the grill and perform an inspection. The grill's gas hose should run along the outside of the grill cabinet and pass through the round hole in the side panel.

Consumers should contact Guangdong Vanward Electric (toll-free: 888-584-3648 website: www.94227info.com) for revised instructions and a warning label to apply to the grill that shows how to properly install the hose and the regulator.
