Smart phones that solve photo problems

Consumer Reports News: January 30, 2013 03:08 PM

Some of today's most sophisticated smart phones include camera features that resolve age-old problems. One perennial challenge, for example, is taking a group photo in which everyone looks equally good.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2, LG Optimus G, and Nokia Lumia 920 all include a feature that lets you select the best shot of each person out of several photos and combine them into one composite photo—right on the phone.

Another common problem is photobombs: Just as you snap your photo, someone (or something) pops into the frame. The Lumia 920 lets you take them right back out again, leaving you with only the subject you intended to capture.

See how these and other cool photo features work in our video.
