A: Either could work, depending on your space. A non-venting dryer is usually connected to a hose to release moisture down a drain or fitted with a reservoir that you empty yourself. A venting dryer requires a duct to send heat and moist air outside. That duct should be rigid or flexible metal, and must be checked regularly for lint buildup. Avoid foil or plastic ones because they sag more readily, leading to potentially dangerous excessive lint buildup.
