Eager to get your paws on a new Microsoft Xbox One or Sony PlayStation 4 game console this fall? Walmart.com is already starting to accept pre-orders for the new systems, which will compete head-to-head this holiday season.
The store is offering two Xbox One pre-order packages: The Day One Edition ($500) contains one limited-edition controller and one Kinect. In addition, there's a Day One bundle ($618) that also includes a 12-month Xbox Live Gold Card and a game of your choice. The PlayStation 4 system is priced at $400.
If you want to reserve either system, just visit Walmart.com to place your order. Walmart says it's limiting pre-orders to just one system per transaction, and you won't be charged until the game consoles becomes available (November for the Xbox, "holidays" for the PS4). Walmart is expecting that both systems will be available in limited quantities when they arrive.
