Sonos is in the business of making all music lovers happy, and its latest wireless speaker, the Blue Note Play:1, is aimed at jazz aficionados.
The Sonos Blue Note Play:1 speaker—a limited-edition, blue-hued version of the Sonos Play:1—pays tribute to Blue Note Records, now in its 75th year. The Blue Note Play:1 ($250) comes with an exclusive Blue Note radio station built into the main menu of the Sonos app. You get a year of Artists Selects, which includes selections from Blue Note artists, as well as a list of 125 songs curated by noted musician and producer Don Was. You can also receive two other Blue Note stations: Born in Blue and Blue Note 101.
Only 4,000 of the Blue Note Play:1 will be made, according to Sonos. The wireless speaker will be available in a few weeks exclusively through the manufacturer. Get more details at the Blue Note Play:1 website.
We expect the Blue Note Play:1 to perform similarly to the Sonos Play:1 ($200), which we rated highly.
