Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was very good. Compared to other tested desktops, it was among the fastest with common tasks such as web browsing and video conferencing. Applications start up almost instantly. It was fast when composing documents with images, calculating large data spreadsheets, and running other productivity tasks, and its speed was adequate for manipulating filters on images, converting and editing videos, and rendering models and calculating simulations.
Ergonomics: The desktop is bundled with a keyboard and mouse. Keyboard letters were low contrast and difficult to read, but its keys were comfortably sized. Keyboard features such as media playback and volume control keys add convenience. The corded mouse has a scroll wheel. You can't easily replace the storage drive. The power button is not in a convenient location, and is either hard to access, or easy to press accidentally. The case has no easily viewed LED indicator for CD activity.
Display: The display quality was Very Good overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural looking. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation.
Useful features and attributes on this model include: The display is a touchscreen that allows a convenient way to interact and navigate using the screen. You can connect common external devices such as hard drives and Blu-ray burners using USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gbps). Gigabit ethernet provides fast transfer of data over a local network. Video outputs include: an HDMI full-size port; these are useful for connecting to an HDTV or separate monitor.
Downsides: This desktop has fewer USB ports than others.
