Detailed Test Results

This phone can work during household AC power loss. It has very good voice quality when talking and listening. It features an incoming and outgoing audio boost as well as a large, comfortable earpiece. Its voice assist setting will announce any buttons that have been pressed. It has a physical knob for volume adjustment as well as switches for ringer on/off, audio boost, tone/pulse, and voice assist. We found ease of use for this phone to be very good. Phone setup is easier than most. Customer support, which you can reach with the push of one button, can remotely program your phone with names and numbers to the phonebook (up to 10 per call), as well as set up such features as device volume or device language.

Phone features include side volume control for handset earpiece, lighted keypad, which is essential if using the phone in a dark room, talking caller ID, and any-key answer.

On the downside, the phone had noticeable background noise, and it lacks auto talk.
