Detailed Test Results

This phone can work during household AC power loss. It has very good voice quality when talking and listening. We found this phone's ease of use to be very good, and its initial setup is easier than most. Its range is longer than most. Can conference handset to handset, as well as with an outside line.

Phone features include side volume control for handset earpiece, lighted keypad, which is essential if using the phone in a dark room, talking caller ID, auto talk (allowing you to answer a call by simply lifting the phone out of the base), any-key answer, voice-mail indicator, and multilingual menus.

This phone has a lot of features to increase accessibility to those with limited hearing and vision, however, we found the display to be on the small side. Additionally, at 7.5 ounces, this was among the heaviest of handsets that we've seen.
