Detailed Test Results

This phone has excellent voice quality when talking and listening. We found this phone's ease of use to be good. The answerer has very good message quality, a generous 43-minute message recording time, and good ease of use. Can conference handset to handset, as well as with an outside line.

Phone features include a lighted keypad, which is essential if using the phone in a dark room, auto talk (allowing you to answer a call by simply lifting the phone out of the base), a voice-mail indicator, and multilingual menus. To save energy and extend battery life, the phone automatically reduces radio power when its base is nearby. It's Energy Star compliant. Answerer allows you to record a greeting using handset.

On the downside, answerer message had noticeable background noise. Phone lacked any-key answer, and a headset jack, which is a useful feature for hands-free operation.
