This phone has excellent voice quality when talking and listening. We found this phone's ease of use to be very good. Its range is longer than most. The answerer has good message quality, adequate 19-minute message recording time, and good ease of use. This unit allows you to pair cell phones via Bluetooth, which allows you to transfer address books from cell phones or to place cellular calls using cordless handsets. Can conference handset to handset, as well as with an outside line.
Answering system can be set to call you on an outside number when you receive a new message. Unit includes a USB port for charging smartphones and other devices. You can also play music from a smart phone or other device via Bluetooth on the base's stereo speakers. Music playback can be controlled by a cordless handset. Phone features include a lighted keypad, which is essential if using the phone in a dark room, talking caller ID, auto talk (allowing you to answer a call by simply lifting the phone out of the base), voice-mail indicator, chain dialing, helpful if you frequently use calling cards, and multilingual menus. To save energy and extend battery life, the phone automatically reduces radio power when its base is nearby. Answerer has an audible new message alert and you can record a greeting using a cordless handset.
On the downside, answerer message had noticeable background noise. Phone lacks a headset jack, which is a useful feature for hands-free operation. Answerer lacks message counter display, and it is easy to accidentally erase unplayed messages.
