This phone can work during household AC power loss with its base corded phone. It has excellent voice quality when talking and very good when listening. We found this phone very good to use. It has very good message quality and very good answerer ease of use. It also has a generous 31-minute message recording time and can conference handset to handset, like an intercom. Its range is longer than most.
Phone features include a lighted keypad, which is essential if using the phone in a dark room, any-key answer and a voice-mail indicator. To save energy and extend battery life, the phone automatically reduces radio power when its base is nearby. It has chain dialing( helpful if you frequently use calling cards), multilingual menus and is conferencing capable with an outside line. It's Energy Star compliant. Additionally, the answerer has an audible new message alert and you can record the answerer greeting using a handset.
On the downside, phone setup is overly complicated.
