Detailed Test Results

Design and features:
This wired portable ear-insert model lacks active noise reduction, but the ear plug-like design helps to reduce both outside noise and sound leaking out into your environment.

Additional features:
Has integrated volume control, microphone, and call connect/disconnect control. None

Sound quality:
We found the ErgoFit In-Ear Earbud USB-C compatible delivers sound quality that falls in the very good range - it reproduces music and voice very well although it does have some noticeable sonic quirks. The bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes deep, but somewhat prominent and boomy. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is a bit grainy, hazy and congested (think sonic traffic jam). The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended but is a bit prominent and a touch smeared. The sound also has a good sense of liveliness and is somewhat open--sound-wise it almost seems like you don't have anything plugging up your ears, and does a good job of recovering room ambience. Mixed character - warmish bass and midrange with cool treble. The overall sound can best be summarized as somewhat bassy and a bit grainy and hazy.

Comfort and Fit:

As typical of in-ear models they produce a sense of pressure in the ear canal opening that might be uncomfortable for some. Many users may find that this model is difficult to position to get the best sound quality. Users with small ear bowls and ear canals might find that the earphone body feels a bit bulky in their ear bowl and that they stick out too far and feel like they may lever out of place, but that once properly positioned the earphones will stay in place during casual use and are very stable even with vigorous head movement.

Medium

Users with medium ear canals will probably find that once properly positioned the earphones will stay in place during casual use and are very stable even with vigorous head movement.

Large

Users with large ear canals will probably find that once properly positioned the earphones will stay in place during casual use and are very stable even with vigorous head movement.

The sound of the earphone connecting cable rubbing on clothing may be heard through the earphones by some users depending on the clothing it's rubbing on.
