Design and features:

This portable ear-insert model from Shure doesn't have active noise reduction, but its earplug-like design helps to reduce both outside noise and sound leaking out into your environment. The earphones also have high sensitivity, so they can provide satisfying volume levels when used with home audio equipment and even lower-powered portable audio devices. This model comes with six pairs of earpieces of various types and sizes, an earwax-cleaning tool, and a carrying pouch.

Sound quality:

We found the SE215 delivers good overall sound with a warm character. The slightly pronounced bass has good impact and decent definition. Midrange is smooth. Treble is dry sounding and a bit recessed; the upper treble is rolled off. Overall the earphones are slightly closed-in sounding, with good dynamics.

Comfort and Fit:
We found that these earphones can be a bit finicky to fit, and the ear loops don't hold their shape well, but they stay in place once you have them seated. A sense of pressure in the ear opening might be uncomfortable for some.
