Design and features:This Bluetooth wireless noise-canceling portable earbud models has a non-isolating design that doesn't muffle outside sounds so you'll be able to hear that door bell ring, train announcement, or car horn when you are wearing these earphones. However, its electronic noise canceling feature seeks to reduce some outside noise. It has a hybrid design that can switch between earbud design with noise canceling. or on-ear design without noise canceling.
Additional features:Has integrated volume control, microphone, and call connect/disconnect control. Either earpiece can be used alone for one ear monitoring of Bluetooth streamed audio and telephone communications. Soundcore App download for Apple and Android mobile devices adds additional features and software updates.
Sound quality:We found the AeroFit 2 Pro delivers sound quality that falls in the acceptable range - it reproduces music and voice reasonably well despite the obvious shortcomings in its sound and good active noise reduction. With the Soundcore app Equalizer set to Soundcore Signature (as received state of the earphone) the
bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact, but is a bit to somewhat prominent and boomy (depending on fit) and goes fairly deep. The
midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is somewhat grainy, hazy and congested (think sonic traffic jam). The
treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is fairly extended but is a bit sizzly (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer have a sound reminiscent of bacon frying) and smeared. It has an open sound, but that's because it's not covering your ears, not because the audio sounds open and does a so-so job of recovering room ambience. The sound also has a decent sense of liveliness and is open--sound-wise it seems like you don't have anything plugging up your ears. Mixed character; warmish bass and midrange and neutral treble. The overall sound can be summarized as somewhat bassy, grainy and hazy. The tone settings of the app do have a noticeable effect on the sound of these earphones.
Noise Canceling: Good noise reduction across the entire frequency range with the low frequencies reduced the most. Orientation does not changes the noise reduction characteristic.
Comfort and Fit:There is a sense of light pressure on the ears.
Small
Users with small sized ears may find that ear hooks feel a bit bulky behind the ears, that this model stays in place with no problems for casual use, and depending on the position, may be more or less stable during fairly vigorous head movement.
