Sound Quality: Overall, we found the speaker delivers middling sound quality. Expect some distortions or other audio issues. The bass, which covers instruments such as bass drums, bass guitars, or stand-up bass, has good impact but deep bass is lacking, and it is boomy, and somewhat prominent. Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is even, but it is a bit hazy. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is fairly extended, but it is somewhat smeared, a bit subdued. Does a decent job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends well beyond above and to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a medium sized room. If you choose to pair this speaker with another, the stereo set can be placed to provide better separation than other models.
