Sound quality: Fender's x Teufel Rockster Go 2 had acceptable overall sound quality - this model reproduces music and dialog reasonably well despite the obvious shortcomings in its sound. The bass has good impact and goes fairly deep but is a bit prominent and boomy. Midrange is fairly even but is somewhat hazy and a bit congested and grainy. Treble is fairly extended but is somewhat smeared and a bit sizzly. Does a decent job of recovering room ambience and sounds a bit congested. The stereo sound field extends a bit above and to the sides of the speaker enclosure. Individual instruments and voices are identifiable but have a two dimensional quality. Volume:
Provides a decent volume level in a medium sized room. When two units are combined to form a stereo pair the sound field can be made wider depending on placement.
