Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is not balanced, and it is somewhat grainy, congested, plasticky, a bit hazy and thin, a touch etched. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is fairly extended, but it is somewhat sizzly, a bit dry. Does a so-so job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends a bit above and to the sides of the speakers. Volume is enough to fill a small sized room.
