Sound Quality: Overall, we found the speaker delivers less than satisfactory sound quality. Expect distortions or other audio issues. The bass, which covers instruments such as bass drums, bass guitars, or stand-up bass, has middling impact and does not go deep, and it is subdued. Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is not balanced, and it is somewhat grainy, congested, thin. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is lacking in extension, and it is prominent, smeared, sizzly. Does a not so good job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends a bit above and to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a small sized room. If you choose to pair this speaker with another, the stereo set can be placed to provide better separation than other models.
Ease of Use: The speaker has many features or accessories that add convenience during daily operation. Shortcut buttons on the console include: linking to other speakers. A strap is conveniently included to help with carrying or moving the speaker. Its rating of IP67 has complete protection against dust and particles, and has protection against immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
Versatility: Some useful features may be included but others that users typically want may be missing. You can connect wirelessly to this speaker via a direct Bluetooth connection. There are no connection ports on this speaker. If you have two of these speakers, you can use TWS to pair them for a wider stereo experience. There are no tone control or EQ settings for customizing your listening experience. There is no speakerphone functionality nor built-in microphone.
