The soundfield extends a bit above, and not much to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a small to medium sized room. If you choose to pair this speaker with another, the stereo set can be placed to provide better separation than other models.
