Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is fairly even, but it is somewhat grainy, hazy, congested. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is somewhat smeared, a bit subdued. Does a so-so job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends a good amount above, and somewhat to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a small to medium sized room.
