The soundfield extends somewhat above, and a bit to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a medium sized room. If you choose to pair this speaker with another, the stereo set can be placed to provide better separation than other models.
