Sound quality: The Marshall Stockwell II has Fair overall sound quality. Bass has decent impact and goes fairly deep, but is somewhat prominent and tubby. Midrange is a bit thin, somewhat hazy, grainy, echoey, and metallic. Treble is fairly extended, but somewhat prominent, smeared and sizzly. The echoey quality masks whatever natural room ambience this model may be recovering, and sound is somewhat congested overall. The two channel sound field is very diffuse. Bluetooth and wired sound quality are the same. Provides a decent volume level in a small to medium sized rooms. This model would have scored higher, but the pervasive echoey quality limits the score to Fair.
