The bass, which covers instruments such as bass drums, bass guitars, or stand-up bass, has middling impact and deep bass is lacking, and it is somewhat subdued. Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is hazy and congested, somewhat grainy and nasal, a bit plasticky. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is fairly extended, but it is somewhat subdued and sizzly. Does a so-so job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends somewhat to the sides, and not much above of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a small to medium sized room.
