Sound quality: Marshall's Willen II had mediocre overall sound quality - this model has sonic shortcomings that leave a lot to be desired when listening to music but don't rule it out for dialog. Bass has so-so impact, is subdued and doesn't go deep. Midrange is grainy, congested and somewhat thin and a bit "telephone-like". Treble is fairly extended but is somewhat smeared, sizzly and a bit prominent. Doesn't do a good job of recovering room ambience and sounds congested. The speaker is monophonic. Provides a decent volume level in a small sized room.
