The bass, which covers instruments such as bass drums, bass guitars, or stand-up bass, has middling impact and does not go deep, and it is subdued. Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is not balanced, and it is grainy and congested, somewhat thin. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is fairly extended, but it is somewhat smeared and sizzly, a bit prominent. Does a not so good job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends somewhat above, and a bit to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a small sized room.
