Midrange, such as guitars, horns, and voices from music or podcasts, is fairly even, but it is somewhat hazy and congested, a bit grainy. Treble, which may include cymbals or the upper range of violins, is fairly extended, but it is a bit smeared. Does a decent job of recovering room ambience. The soundfield extends a bit above and to the sides of the speakers, and while individual instruments and voices are identifiable, they only have a two dimensional quality. Volume is enough to fill a medium sized room.
